Metaphors a new series of works by Caribbean painter Enriquillo R. Amiama will be shown at Galeria Centro in San Jose, Costa Rica from June 13 to June 30. The continuous experimentation with symbols and color and the use of common objects as metaphors of life is a trade mark of this artist. 14 paintings celebrating his # 14 solo show.
Amiama was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1962. His work his been exhibited in Santo Domingo, Montreal, Wsahington DC, Panama and Costa Rica, with work in corporate collections in Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Guadalupe, Honduras, Brazil,
Panama, Mexico, Estados Unidos, Canada, France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
