"The Propaganda Project: Seven emerging artists and a performance group"
2001-06-21 until 2001-08-12
OTF venue of contemporary art
Lemon Grove, CA, USA United States of America

Seven artists came together and discussed the cultural, socio political, and general idea of Propaganda . They then parted ways and began their work. The work ranges from the most obvious to the ironic and then even to the iconic.

Some of the artists chose to depict political characters in humorous positions, others chose to deal with the reactionary ideas most often associated with propaganda, and others decided to isolate the icons associated with propaganda.

Artists involved in the exhibition are Suchi Naugayan, Jashua Eggleton, Clayton Lewallen, Andy Loy, Jason Sherry, Rich Guffy and L. Matthew Bowler.
