"Well Heeled: A Shoe Exhibition"
2001-06-22 until 2001-07-29
Ann Arbor Art Center
Ann Arbor, MI, USA United States of America

The Well-Heeled show is a juried exhibition that will showcase artwork that has some correlation to shoes; some work will have an obvious relation, while some will relate to shoes in an abstract, ephemeral fashion. Related activities to be held in conjunction with the Well Heeled exhibition include a shoe lecture with Nancy Bryck, curator at Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, a shoe installation and a junior membership exhibition, and two shoe-related workshops.

Shoe merchandise will be available in the Gallery Shop and shoes can be painted in Feat of Clay, the paint your own pottery studio. In addition, an Art By the Foot fundraiser will give patrons the opportunity to purchase pieces of art by the foot the evening of the opening reception, June 29.
