"Call for Artists: Visions of Elvis II"

Artists are wanted to enter the exhibit VISIONS OF ELVIS II an International all media exhibition celebrating the icon of Rock n roll, The King, to take place July 27 through August 25, 2001, sponsored by Gallery 218/ Walker's Point Artists Association, Inc.

Open to all professional artists 18 years or older.Any media. All work must be framed and wired for hanging. No clip frames. Video or film must provide own equipment for viewing. 3d must provide pedestals.The Deadline for delivery of work at gallery 218 is 5pm, July 1, 2001. All work must be for sale. 30 percent commission. The entry fee is 35 US dollars for one or two pieces. All work will be hung.

A rockin reception will take place on Gallery Night July 27, 2001, 7-10pm. Featuring a LIVE Elvis Performance, and a People's choice Contest. The King's favorite foods will be served. Over 1000 visitor expected. In addition, an Elvis Lives karaoke night will take place August 17.

All shipping costs are the responsibility of the artists. Insure your work at all times. Work being mailed should be in bubble wrap and a Re-usable cardboard container.

Regular Gallery Hours are: Wed/Thurs: Noon-5pm, Fri: 5-9pm, Sat/Sun: 12-5pm.
