Brockton, MA, USA United States of America

The Fuller Museum of Art is pleased to announce that Environmental Arts, Inc will present its Sixth Annual Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition on the grounds of the Fuller Museum of Art from August 4 - November 4, 2001. Environmental Arts, Inc. is a non-profit organization that promotes site-specific art in natural settings. Previous juried exhibitions have been held at Bradley Palmer State Park, Topsfield and the Art Complex Museum in Duxbury.

For the past six years, the Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition has been located on the grounds of the Fuller Museum of Art where a path, through twenty-two acres of wooded area, was created for the establishment of sites for permanent as well as temporary sculptures. There are also open areas and water sites that surround the Museum where artists may place sculptures.

This years exhibition will be juried by Martha Buskirk, Associate Professor of Art History at Montserrat College of Art. She is currently a Bunting Fellow at the Radcliff Institute for Advanced Study. Buskirk will chose artists from across New England who will create work for sites around the grounds and along the Fuller Museums woodland path.

There will be a reception on the grounds of the Fuller Museum on Saturday, September from 1-4pm with a walk through and tour of the installations conducted by Martha Buskirk and the participating artists at 2pm.
