DesigNation, the Organization of Black Designers Multidiscipline & Multicultural Design Conference announces its fifth conference - DesigNation4: Create! - October 25-28, Miami. The international design conference is expected to attract 2,500 attendees and lots of corporate exhibitors.

DesigNation® has become the United Nations of Design Conferences. Bringing together Product, Advertising, Graphic, Broadcast, Fashion, Multimedia, Interior, and Architectural, designers from all over the Globe.

A variety of corporate exhibitors and sponsors including Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Nike, Steelcase, Hallmark Cards, Disney, Bank of America are some of the conference supporters.

DesigNation4: Create! will continue to showcase the work of some of the most exciting and talented designers in the world. The conference will focus on today's new and emerging design stars. It will explore the work and ideas of the new design culture, its mind set and the new tools being used to create the design reality of the next millennium.

Workshops and break-out sessions will explore the essence of design trends, business essentials, and design education. A key feature of the conference is the Design Recruitment Workshop. Ford, General Motors, Nike, Rubbermaid, The Gap, Hallmark, and many other national and international companies actively recruit design talent at DesigNation.

From automobiles, apparel, printed and electronic media, to advertising, product and environmental design DesigNation4: Create! delves into the process of design - from initial concept sketches, to models or prototypes to the final-product whether it be two dimensional, three dimensional or electronic in its finished state, states art director Charles Davis. It is an extremely exciting time to be a designer.

Shauna Stallworth, director of programming for the conference says, We bring in top designers from all over - Detroit, Silicon Valley, Seventh Avenue, Hollywood, Madison Avenue, Europe, Africa and Asia to present their work. DesigNation® is the 'United Nations' of design.
