Mahoney, SPACIA is an essay in the sense of space that an artwork invokes, from the imaginative industrial/emotional spaces of Champ Taylor to the meld of depicted and suggested space in Jeffrey Smith and Nan Montgomery‚s work; from the symbolic spaces of Simon Gouverneur, Caroline Orner and Astrid Colomar, to the metaphysical concepts of Vicente Pascual.
The Millennium Arts Center is a new national arts center that brings
fine, visual and performing artists together under one roof. MAC
makes Washington, D.C. the home of this country's first national arts
center of its kind.
