The selection panel, including Audrey Walker M.B.E. and Rachael Howard, chose from over 750 entries by 462 artists from 34 countries around the world, to make this a dynamic collection of the best in international, contemporary stitched work.

The exhibition constitutes the fourth biennal International Open Exhibition by the Embroiderers Guild in association with Coates Crafts UK. The exhibition offers an opportunity to textile artists to be recognised internationally as the producers of good contemporary embroidery and design.
