This exciting exhibition of selected paintings chosen by branches throughout
South Africa showing the talents of up and coming WSSA members.
The Watercolour Society of South Africa was founded in 1975 with the objective of
promoting the art and practice of watercolour painting.
The WSSA has branches in various parts of the country – 3 in Gauteng -
Johannesburg, Centurion (Pretoria) and West Rand, and in Natal (Durban),
Mpumalanga (Nelspruit) and Bloemfontein.There are also Informal Groups which
meet in other areas. The branches arrange lectures, workshops, demonstrations,
local exhibitions, etc for the benefit of their members. Members may attend any
of these events, regardless of which branch they belong to.
