"Location/Dislocation Web Based Projects by Quebec Artists"
2001-09-25 until 2001-10-07
New Museum of Contemporary Art
New York, NY, USA

In association with Quebec/New York, the New Museum presents Location/Dislocation in the Media Z Lounge, featuring seven web based projects by Quebec artists who explore concepts of place on the Internet.

Artists include AE collective (Gisele Trudel and Stephane Claude); Yan Breuleux; Johnny Ranger and Bill Sulivan; Brad Todd; the architectural collective Atelier in situ (Annie Lebel and Stephanie Pratte); Nancy Tobin; and [The User] (Thomas McIntosh and Emmanuel Madan). Each project reflects how cyberspace has altered perceptions of geography and architecture.

Organized by Valérie Lamontagne and Sylvie Parent in collaboration with Anne Barlow.

The Québec/New York 2001 festival will take place September 13 - October 7 in venues throughout New York City.
