Indepth Arts News: "Call to Artists: Scholarships for Painting Workshops in France, 2002" 2001-12-06 until 2002-10-02 French Paintbox Cordes-sur-Ciel and Limoges, , FR France
French Paintbox's painting workshops in the Midi-Pyrenees region and
Limousin combine effortless travel and rewarding art classes, providing a
truly rejuvenating art education vacation. In June, 2002, our charismatic,
expeienced painting instructors will lead watercolor/acrylic/pastel/inks
classes near the oldest and best-preserved bastide town of southwestern
France, Cordes-sur-Ciel, for eight of ten workshop days in the French
countryside. Other seccessions will be available May 31-June 9, June 10-19, June 20-29, and September 23-October 2, 2002.
Painting on porcelain classes will be held in world-renown
Limoges in autumn. All workshops include accommodations, great cuisine and
unforgettable excursions. Those who are interested in gardens -- and who
can get along with individuals with diverse profiles -- will be considered
for partial scholarships worth up to $1,000.00 each. Financial support will
be awarded/based primarily on how good of a complement a given individual
seems to be for a given group; French Paintbox tries to recruit individuals with a variety
of backgrounds. Enrollment is very limited so those interested are invited
to visit our Web site www.frenchpaintbox.com as soon as possible, and urged
to complete and submit an application on the RESERVATIONS page. At this
