Rod Daniel extracts the remarkable from the mundane. His photography reflects the stories of rural Americana, and consequently of the artist himself. The combination of his isolation and self-sufficiency becomes evident in the solid, singular subjects that are chosen. Rods current exhibition chronicles his travels through the quiet back roads of America in a full-frame photographic style capable of conveying an immensely intimate sense of place.
Rod Daniels work has been exhibited nationally in museums, galleries and juried shows from New York to California. This exhibition marks the Los Angeles debut of his American Back Roads collection.
