For The Difference Between You and Us, Five Years are showing work by
artists who have previously contributed to the gallery's programme,
including; Eddy Dorrian, Alex Schady, Michelle Deignan, Mark Hulson,
Denise Hawyrsio and Simon Goodwin.
Founded in July '98 the galleries are run on a collaborative basis by
four visual artists. Working open-mindedly across video, photography,
painting, film and digital media, Five Years uses the context of the
gallery as a forum for exchange, experimentation and public dialogue.
The work in The Difference Between You and Us will be presented in both
the upstairs and downstairs galleries and will incorporate an
open-access screening of any videos (VHS & SVHS) handed in to the
gallery during open hours.
