25 years ago, a group of artists known as Ny
Abstraktion (New Abstraction) made their first
appearance on the Danish art scene. Right now the group is reunited at ARKEN.
The artist have created a series of works
specifically for ARKEN´s Art Axis. The
exhibition also documents the achievements
of the group.
The participating artists include: Finn
Mickelborg, Viera Collaro, Tonny Hørning,
Torben Ebbesen, Niels Nedergård, Margrethe
Sørensen, Klaus Hillingsøe, Merete Barker,
Hjørdis Hack, Eva Öhrling, Bjarne Solberg,
Claus Jensen and Peter Holck.
