In recent years, experimental art from mainland China has become recognized as
an especially vibrant area of contemporary culture, and the Smart Museum has
supported this new work through acquisitions as well as exhibitions.
Large-scale
photographs and photo-based installations by prominent artists such as Rong Rong
and Qui Zhije will be featured. This is the second in a series of exhibitions
highlighting recent photography acquisitions.
