"Abstract Perspectives: Featuring Paintings by Adrien Asselin"

Adrien Asselin's pastels recall the flash of blue sky, the vibrancy of a single bird egg, even a Tibetan monks cloak as in ìRecontre Bush et Dalai Lamaî, his use of numerous lines in tones of incandescent red, recall the day when the mightiest economic power stood before the mightiest spiritual force.
Asselin considers himself a simple seismograph, a witness to contemporary events, an interpreter of a life underlying life, where art is defined with each moment, each of which breathes into him a new inspiration.
Adrien Asselin has shown in a broad range of exhibitions including ones at the Gallerie de la Salle and Le Centre Culturel in Ontario, the Exposition d'art Internationale in Chicago and the Stampaglia in Italy. He has been a professor of visual art the Ecole Secondaire Timmins, also in Ontario.
