"7 - Seven Incredible Photographers"
2002-01-28 until 2002-02-09
Association of Photographers Gallery
London, , UK United Kingdom

‘Seven Wonders of the World’, ‘Seven Samurais’, ‘Seven Deadly Sins’, ‘The Magnificent Seven’ and ‘Frankie Dettori’s seven winners at Ascot’. Now, the AOP Gallery brings you in an exhibition seven incredible photographers together for the first time. ‘7’ is eclectic mix of colour and black and white documentary images profiling seven of the UK’s leading photographers.

AOP members Marcus Lyon, Julie Fisher, Luc Beziat, Roger Hutchings, Dod Miller, Andy Wilson and Matthew Stuart have brought together some of their most thought provoking and stunning Black and White images.

In ‘7’ Roger Hutchings lifts the veil on the fashion industry, and Luc Beziat takes you on a journey through his lens from Vietnam to Vegas. Marcus Lyon lets you in on the sublime to the ridiculous while Dod Miller lets your imagination run wild with ‘Porno Cannes’. While Julie Fisher reveals her stylish slant on home life with her rich colourful portraits.

‘The 7’ have worked for nearly every major newspaper in the UK and on some of the most exciting advertising campaigns over the last decade. Bringing them together is a rare and special treat not to be missed.
