Mountain Glory is an exhibition for an artist with a unique interpretation of our mountain home. Canada House welcomes Alberta painter Neil Swanson to the gallery on April 6th from 1 to 3 pm for a show and sale of his work.
Swanson does not paint a conventional mountainscape yet it is easy to recognize your favourite peaks and landmarks in the brilliant scenes he creates. He uses non-traditional colours and patterns to bring to life lakes, animals and western skies. Hidden in the shadows are bears, birds, hikers, deer-all the facets of our open-air lifestyle. Each new viewing of a Swanson painting reveals more secrets.
