Personal work: conceived by the artists themselves, as opposed to traditional theatre and work which is commissioned public / community art (i.e.: commissioned work for a school, hospital, council where the artists is required to act as facilitator / social worker as well as to create a piece of work).

4. Space: work, which is specific to the site. Drawing from the history of a site, its architecture, its contents, its past use, the social/ economical impact of the loss of its prime activity on the surrounding community.
