Indepth Arts News: "Call for Artists: Applications Being Taken for International Sculpture Expo" 2002-05-20 until 2002-06-22 Sculpture Internationale 2002 Atlanta, GA, USA United States of America
A world of fine sculpture is scheduled for Atlanta in October 2002. When Sculpture Internationale opens it plans to present more than 100 accomplished artists working in a variety of media.
The exhibition and sale will take place in the Cobb Galleria Center located on I-285 on the north side of Atlanta. This event will bring to Atlanta many artists from throughout the United States as well as specially invited overseas artists. The works will all be for sale and include free-standing works in bronze, stone, ceramic, wood, glass and welded metal.
Sculptors who wish to be invited to exhibit and sell may visit the website at www.sculpture-usa.com where they may obtain full information as well as application forms and terms which may be printed out.
This event, which promises to be an annual in the Southeast will present the works of sculptors who are represented in many corporate and private collections as well as museums. In addition to being open to the public on the weekend of October 4-6, 2002, the event will attract many galleries and dealers seeking new artists to represent. All works on exhibit will be attended by the actual artist who created them.
