"Two Wired Women: Sue Gollifer and Cynthia Beth Rubin"
2002-06-20 until 2002-07-03
LeVall Gallery
Novosibirsk, , RU Russian Federation

Two international artists, known for digital prints are exhibiting in Novosirbsk, Siberia, from June 20 – July 10. Sue Gollifer, from Brighton, England, and Cynthia Beth Rubin, of New Haven, USA, have each been working for more than 15 years in the field of digital art, exploring the new imagery made possible by the introduction of technology to their work.

Each artist, however, represents a markedly different approach to the use of the computer. Gollifer’s work focuses on the subtle color relationships of repeating overlappings forms, while Rubin uses new technology to fuse the colors of expressionism with layered photographic imagery.

"Renewal of prints through new technology continues to motivate my work." - Sue Gollifer

"I found myself increasingly in tune with the echoes of the past." - Cynthia Beth Rabin
