This Conference, organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon in the framework of the Public Art Observatory, provides a forum for the dissemination of research findings, practical guidance and case studies associated with the role of the arts and urban design in urban development. It has an emphasis on practice and theory and it encourages debate and discussion. A mixture of both research-oriented and practitioner papers are encouraged to provide a high quality exchange of ideas and experiences.
The sessions provide delegates with an opportunity to learn about recent developments in the field and to engage in debate and discussion about various tools and approaches.
