"Call for Artists: e-Media Gallery calling for for NET ART WORKS, CD-ROM & DVD"

CCP is currently calling for works for exhibition in its e-Media Gallery for late 2002 and 2003. Established in 1997 as a dedicated space for the display of digital art, and initially limited to CD-ROM works, e-Media has recently been refurbished to enable the display of net art, through broadband internet connection, and DVDs.

The small Gallery, which features a wooden facade with a cut-out for the mouse and the monitor screen, acts as a 'digital portal' at CCP and is visited by hundreds of visitors each week.

CCP promotes all exhibitions on its full colour monthly invitation brochure, on the CCP website and through a range of media channels. Shows normally run for about a month and CCP is able to offer a small artist's fee for exhibiting work in the e-Media Gallery. Proposals are accepted on an ongoing basis. Preference may be given to works engaging with the idea and practice of 'photomedia'.
