Internet is a new medium and its path of practice is not yet paved... only time will tell what future applications may bring to us. This is making internet an interesting medium and especially for Africa it is bringing new opportunities. Internet as an alternative medium will provide artists a strong platform to similarly work, build and rely on ... So Time is bringing new vows. What else is Time bringing or is Time taking? Artists will brief on that, their works will be able to reach you now within 'No-Time'.
We are here, we cannot get away from our time regardless of who we are, where we come from, wherever we might travel to, we are here, all together, right now, here in this womb of time. Time is making you what you are, time is telling you where you come from, time is letting you go, bringing all from one point to another, we are here, this is our life in real time.
Art touches personal, social, cultural, economical and physical aspects of life, but art is also a mirror to time. The new initiative created on internet by AfricanColours is called: WWW.RT-IT.COM. This is a new media art project, dealing with (virtual) Time and (virtual) Space.
