"SEASCAPES with a Surreal Edge"
2002-08-24 until 2002-09-02
Depot Gallery
Montauk, NY, USA United States of America

Ingrid Torjesen's paintings explore the diversity of the local landscape, including the many varieties of glacial rocks which characterize the shoreline as well as driftwood in its many shapes and forms. Torjesen‚s compositions express the relationship between objects. Stones are more than stones, they stand majestic, wise, eternal. Driftwood seems to have arrived at its final resting place and gazes out to sea.

Ingrid Torjesen will be exhibiting her new series of seascape paintings in a group show at the Depot Gallery in Montauk from Saturday, August 24 through Monday September 2.
