"Art Vacations on Mexico's Pacific Coast"

Nancy Lennie , artist- teacher is sharing her studio with those interested in studying art and Mexican traditional arts and crafts while on vacation. In the Mexican village of Melaque in the beach setting of Bay of Navidad, people are finding that extra something that lifts their travels to a more satisfying level. While at the La Paloma Art Center, you are encouraged to see Mexico at its fullest with an artists eye. In the studio you can integrate your response to the exciting light, sights and sensations by exploring a variety of media in a lush tropical setting.

The workshop schedule is a new beginning for the Center. They have decided to do away with rigid dates and schedulesfpor most of the workshops! It is their desire for you to find out as much about the skills of drawing and painting graphics, design, art journaling as you wish. Explore paint and ideas individually or in small groups each week at La Paloma Art Center.

TIME: Monday to Friday from 10 AM TO 2 PM. COST: $150.00 pesos per day. You can chose your days and stay as long as you like. Your schedule is based on your needs.

JAN 6-10 = EMPHASIS ON ACRYLICS AND PENCIL .......... PRICE $150 pesos per day

Develop skills in both drawing and painting. Plan your week of drawing and painting on your own or with in a small group. Teacher involvement dependent on studnet needs and wishes.

FEB.3-7 = CHALLENGE WATERCOLOR "I DARE YOU" ...... PRICE $200.00 U.S.D. per week.

Emphasis on developing new and bold ideas in watercolor. You won't believe where you'll go with this class. Not for the faint of heart or lazy. The group will paint, paint, paint! Most participants have a knowledge of watercolor, but if you are a risk taker and wnat to try it, please do.

MARCH 3-7 = EMPHASIS ON MIXED WATER MEDIA...... PRICE $150.00 peso per day

Develop your perception of the Mexican environment around you - landscapes and gardens. Journaling and painting, color, color, color.
