FONAS (Friends of the National Art School) invite you to an exhibition of work by National Art School Alumni.
What an event it will be this year with two highly respected, well-established Sydney artists curating the exhibition – Elizabeth Cummings and Lynn Eastaway
Peter Berner (renowned television presenter of the ABC’s BackBerner and radio personality) will be opening the exhibition on Tuesday 1 October. Peter is himself a 1996 Alumnus of the National Art School, and retains his passion for art and drawing to this day.
The Alumination Exhibition showcases selected works of NAS Alumni, ranging from recent 2001 BFA graduates to Alumni who graduated up to 50 years ago. The School boasts an incredible Alumnus, which includes our country’s top artists such as John Coburn, Colin Lanceley, Ann Thomson, Guy Warren, Ken Done, John Firth-Smith, John Olsen to name just a few.
Over 60 works will be on display – including painting, sculpture, prints, photography and ceramics and most works will be for sale. All net proceeds from the Alumination Exhibition will assist FONAS in funding scholarships and awards for NAS students and Alumni.
