"Call for Participation: AS A SATELLITE"

AS A SATELLITE is a new program of the Visual Arts Department of The Americas Society (AS). This program invites artist-run centers and non-profit organizations in Latin America, Canada, and the Caribbean to use The Americas Society as their satellite for the production of exhibitions and event-based projects in New York.

To participate in AS A SATELLITE, please present a proposal to the Visual Arts Department. There is no application form, but in order for your center/organization to be considered, you must submit a Project Proposal Description including all of the materials listed under the section Documentation Requirements.

Project proposals can be submitted by an artist-run center or non-profit organization in Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Collaborative project proposals, for example, a single project proposal prepared jointly by two or more centers/organizations, may also be considered. Proposals in Spanish, Portuguese, French and English, are accepted.
