"Vision Image and Perception"

Vision Image and Perception, the exhibition organised as the opening event of the Budapest Autumn Festival by the C3 Foundation and the Műcsarnok/Kunsthalle Budapest, aims to present the active process of human vision as approachable through historical, cultural, technical and neurobiological methods, with the aid of artworks, demonstration charts and apparatus, as well as the potentials of interactive multimedia.

Works on view within the contemporary art section include those by:

Diebner - Sven Sahle, Róza El-Hassan, Miklós Erdély, Roland Farkas, Harun Farocki, Joachim Fleischer, Ivan Ladislav Galeta, Gábor Győrfi, Katalin György, Norman Muller Thomas Tirel - Sven Hahne, Folke Hanfeld, György Jovánovics, Béla Julesz, Gábor Kerekes, Zsolt Keserue - Tamás Enyingi, Ilona Keserü, Andrea Kirkovits, Szabolcs KissPál, Tamás Körösényi, Dóra Maurer, François & Vera Molnár, Antal Örkényi, Gábor Palotai, András Ravasz, László László Révész, János Sugár, Miklós Surányi, Pál Szacsva y, Zoltán Szegedy-Maszák, IPUT, Keiko Takahashi - Shinji Sasada - Seiji Hori, Anja Theismann and Péter Türk.

The exhibition is curated by Miklós Peternák and Nikolett Erőss.

Their aim is to establish a comprehensive, scientific and technological historical context, through the organisation of lectures and the screening series, as well as the production of various publications, in connection with the show. vision.c3.hu
