Gallery 83 presents Nausher Banaji's first exhibition of tantalizing photographic canvases. Nausher's work is an exploration of sensual human forms placed in dream-like settings using deep colors and glowing light sources aluminate the subjects. Nausher comments, "I feel shadows talk of mysteries: In them I see passion and feel the passage of time. Photography manipulates feelings through images prowling those dark corridors between youth and eternity."
Established in 2000, Gallery 83 is a private gallery dedicated to exhibiting exciting contemporary works from Canada's most promising emerging artists. Located in the heart of Chinatown, this spacious venue maintains a showcase of works as well as rotating exhibits.
