"Call for Artists: City of Burien, Street Clock"

The King County Public Art Program of Washington State is seeking artists residing in Washington, Oregon or British Columbia to create a Street Clock for the City of Burien, Washington. The clock will be located in downtown Burien as part of a comprehensive downtown revitalization plan and offers prospective artists the chance to interact with a city that is new to the public art process but eager to use public art as a tool for stimulating downtown revitalization and civic pride.

Three finalists will be paid $1,000 each to develop proposals. A design and implementation budget for the selected Clock proposal is $28,000.
