Indepth Arts News: "Call to Artists: Happiness and Pretence - A Mail Art Exhibition" 2003-03-10 until 2003-04-15 Bibliotheque Gabrielle-Roy Quebec, QC, CA Canada
Artists are invited to participate in a mail-art exhibition, under the theme of Happiness and Pretence. Please note that only work that
relates to this theme will be accepted. The
mail-art exhibition will be held from April 21 to May 31, 2003, at the Bibiliotheque Gabrielle-Roy in Quebec City, within the context of the second
edition of the Manif d'art, a bi-annual event presented by the Manifestation internationale d'art de Quebec.
No artist's fees will be paid. Works must
be received by mail. Required format: postcard 4 x 6 inches (10 x 15 cm). All works relating to the theme will be exhibited and none will be
returned to their creators. Please create your work from within the following art forms: artist s stamps, visual poetry, collage, computer-assisted
art, art brut (arte povera), graphic art, photography, painting.
A CD-ROM catalogue will be produced for the occasion and given to each of the participating artists.
Deadline: April 15 (postmark bearing witness).

postal se tiendra du 21 avril au 31 mai la biblioth que Gabrielle-Roy de Qu bec dans le cadre de la deuxi me dition de la Manif d art, un
v nement pr sent par la Manifestation internationale d art de Qu bec. Aucun cachet ne sera acccord . Les œuvres doivent parvenir que par
la seule voie postale. Aucune s lection ne sera effectu e et les œuvres ne seront pas retourn es. Veuillez r aliser vos travaux dans les genres
artistiques suivants: timbres d'artistes, po sie visuelle, collages, travail effectu avec l'aide de l'ordinateur, art brut (arte povera), oeuvres
graphiques, photographies, peinture. Format unique exig : cartes postales, 4 X 6 pouces (10 X 15 cm). Nous n'acceptons que les travaux qui

Un catalogue c d rom sera r alis pour l'occasion et remis chacun des artistes participants.

de arte postal tendr lugar en la biblioteca Gabrielle-Roy de Qu bec del 21 de abril al 31 de mayo en el marco de la segunda edici n de la Manif
d'art. Este acontecimiento es presentado por la manifestation d'art de Qu bec . Ning n cachet ser otorgado. Las obras deben llegar solamente
por v a postal. Ninguna selecci n ser efectuada y las obras no ser n devueltas. Deben realizar sus trabajos en los g neros art sticos siguientes
: sellos de artistas, poes a visual, collage, trabajo efectuado por ordenador, arte bruto (arte povera), obras gr ficas, fotograf a, pintura. El nico
formato exigido : cartas postales, 4 x 6 pulgadas ( 10 x 15 cent metros). Aceptamos solamente los trabajos que tendr n una relaci n con la

Un cat logo cd-rom ser realizado para la ocasi n y entregado a cada uno de los artistas participantes.
