KINETIC-ART.ORG (KAO) is pleased to sponsor and announce the Second International KAO Kinetic Art Competition, which is free for KAO members. Kinetic Art is always the forgotten orphan in today's cultural environment. It is high time to expose this wonderful part of sculptural art to more people in more places. By uniting kinetic sculptors around the world via the Internet, KAO hopes to raise the awareness and interest in our enjoyable art form.

2003 KAO PRIZE CATEGORIES

Category 1: Public Art
Category 2: Engineering Ingenuity
Category 3: Funktionetic
Category 4: Water Sculptures
Category 5: Other and Open

2003 KAO INTERNATIONAL PRIZES

FIRST-$500, SECOND - $250, THIRD - $100
as well as Honorary Mentions for the best works in each category.

Each prize winner's work will be displayed on the KAO website and winners may display the 2003 KAO Prize Winner Logo on their website, marketing materials, etc.
