"Call for Artists: Summer Group Show 2003 - Souvenirs/Mementoes"
2003-04-04 until 2003-04-25
Changing Room
Stirling, , UK United Kingdom

Following the success of past open exhibitions The Changing Room is holding an open submission group show in summer 2003 around the theme of souvenirs/mementoes. The aim of the exhibition is to show work by emerging artists, which is linked by the notion of the souvenir or memento. Artists are invited to explore this theme in a broad sense - the need to encapsulate our experiences, the embodiment of a memory, perception of our surroundings, the effect of history and myth on modern identity, travel and the tourist industry.

Work submitted may take any form in relation to visual art.
