Figureheads - 2003 Art Competition is an exhibition of sculpture based on decorative figurheads found on ships. Deadline for the competition is July 15, 2003 and is open to all international artist who are 18 years and older. 3D work not to exceed 100cm in any direction and no heavier than 30lbs (13.5kg). Work must be completed in the last year. Slides must be 35mm and 3-D works may be wall hanging or free-standing.
This Open Juried Exhibition
will present awards for The Best of Show which will receive a Cash Awards of Excellence, and will be considered for a
solo show in 2004.
All entrants' works will participate in the group exhibition FIGUREHEADS
in November 2003 at Artempresa Gallery, Cordoba-Argentina.

Artists Notification - 15 August 2003
Accepted Entries - 30 September 2003
Exhibition Open - 5 November 2003
Exhibition Close - 22 November 2003
Pick Up Unsold Entries - 23 November 2003
Return of Shipped Entries - 23 November 2003
ENTRY FEE: US$30 for three slides. US$5 for each additional slide.
Will be no limit on the number of entries per artist.
