Sleeping your way to the top never looked so
good. Come one, come all to Planned Parenthood Western Pennsylvania Action
Funds (PPWPAF) fifth annual condom packaging design contest, Stiff
Competition, Hollywood: A Hard Act to Follow. In the second year as a
national competition, PPWPAF will once again accept condom package designs,
following the Hollywood theme, from all over the country. The design
contest winner, announced at a gala on May 29, 2003 at The Andy Warhol
Museum in Pittsburgh, will be reproduced into condom packages to be sold
to the public.
Stiff Competition is a fun, creative and attention-getting method to
address the topic of safe sex and condom use, said PPWPAF President and CEO
Kim Evert. We appreciate all the designers who are lending an artistic
hand to support our vital message about the reproductive health and rights
of women and families throughout the country and the world.
Entering the contest is simple and there is no entry fee. Stiff

including layout and design requirements and submission methods. Deadline
for entries is May 12, 2003.

. The Hollywood themed site includes
special sections like The Condom Art page, which sells condoms packaged in
previous winners designs, and the Spread the Word section, which offers a
variety of e-cards for the visitors sending pleasure.
All proceeds from the competition and gala benefit PPWPAF, an independent,
not-for-profit organization formed as the political arm of Planned
Parenthood Western Pennsylvania. The Action Fund exists to preserve and
expand public policy in favor of reproductive rights and healthcare. These
goals are achieved by increasing public awareness of the importance of such
healthcare and supporting elected representatives who share the ideals of
reproductive freedom.
