Artspace Gallery is currently accepting applications for the 2004 season. The final deadline for being considered for a show in 2004 is July 1, 2003. Proposers will be notified whether they have been placed on the exhibition calendar for the coming year. They will also be notified as to their co-exhibitors and their Artspace Liaison.

If you are interested in showing work as a non-member exhibitor, call or visit artspace for submission guidelines, or for details and application see:

http://www.artspacegallery.org/exhibitionproposal.htm If your work is accepted for an exhibition at Artspace, you will be required to follow these guidelines. Please familiarize yourself with the Exhibition Guidelines, before submitting your proposal:

http://www.artspacegallery.org/exhibition_guidelines.htm Artspace began in 1988 as an association of artists interested in exhibiting their own work and providing a space for other artists to reach a wider audience in the greater Richmond, Virginia area. Since then, Artspace has maintained a gallery committed to showing first quality visual art in a variety of innovative styles and media. The gallery has also been the forum for original work in poetry, prose, drama, dance and music.

Three galleries are available for exhibitions and performances at Artspace. The Helena Davis gallery is a small, enclosed room approximately 15'x15'. The Main gallery is a large open space with a view up into the Skylight gallery above. The Main gallery is ideal for large works, installations, and performance pieces. The Skylight gallery upstairs offers an independent lighting system and a view down into the Main gallery.

In addition to the three galleries at Artspace, the front foyer, the hallway to the Main Gallery, and the Mezzanine between the two flights of stairs are all available for display of artwork.
