"Call for Artists: 2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Regional Juried Photography Exhibition"

The Business of Art Center of Colorado Springs, Colorado, in conjunction with Working With Artists of Denver, Colorado, and The Circle of Confusion Photographers Group of Colorado Springs, Colorado, announce The Second Annual Rocky Mountain Regional Juried Photography Exhibition. Cash awards totaling $2,450 will be divided among winning works.
The 2002 juried exhibit resulted in 80 pieces selected out of over 300 entries. The exhibition was very successful for the photographers in the seven state Rocky Mountain region, and the show was well received by the many photographers who entered the show and those photography fans in the area who visited the exhibit.
This year, the juror is Ron Wohlauer, a master photographer who is widely exhibited throughout the United States. He currently has work in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and the Denver Art Museum. He studied with Brett Weston and Morley Baer. He has an MA in Photography from the University of Oregon. He is currently the Program Coordinator and a Professor at Community College of Denver.
The fine art exhibit is open to all photographers 18 years and older living in the western states of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New
Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
There are no categories. Each entry will be judged on its own merit. Deadline for applications is JulyThe juried works will be displayed at The Business of Art Center from August 23, 2003, to September 27, 2003.
