The Rockaway Artists Alliance (RAA) presents DIGITALSPLASH 2003, to be exhibited in sTudio 6 Gallery at Fort Tilden, Rockaway, Queens, New York in partnership with the National Park Service / Gateway National Recreation Area. DIGITALSPLASH 2003 exhibition will be a featured part of RAA's third annual ARTSPLASH 2003, a multimedia arts extravaganza taking place in the Rockaway Center for the Arts (RoCA), which includes sTudio 6 Gallery, sTudio 7 Gallery, outdoor stage, sculpture garden and portions of the surrounding national park.
EventEligibility
USA artists: minimum 18 years of age with limited edition 2-dimensional prints or photographs that use the computer as a primary creative tool to make the imagery. Work must be framed and ready to wall-hang. (minimum 11 x 14 inches, maximum 30 x 40 inches)
CashAward
A $250 award will be presented for excellence. The award winner will be chosen from all DIGITALSPLASH 2003 and ARTSPLASH 2003 participants.
EntryFee
The nonrefundable $30.00 entry fee (RAA members-$20.00) is for the submission of up to 6 artworks.

ImageEntry
Up to 6 high resolution 8.5 x 11-inch digital prints only of the work being submitted for jurying. Please type the following information directly onto the lower front border of each print: artist's name, title, medium, dimensions, and date of creation.
Résumé: Up to 2-page maximum typed, art-related résumé only. Include e-mail address.

ArtworkReturned
Exhibitors not picking up their work must provide appropriate packaging and postage for the return of the artworks by United States Postal Service. RAA will return unsold exhibited works within 30 days after the close of the exhibition. RAA cannot be responsible for works without proper packaging and postage.
PromotionSales
Publicity for the exhibition includes invitations, press releases, a newsletter and articles.
A 10% donation to RAA on sales is appreciated; payment to the artist for sale of artwork will be sent within 30 days after the close of the exhibition.

No changes of any kind may be made after selections are finalized and notices sent.
Although RAA takes the utmost care within our facility, we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage. Submitting an entry to this competition constitutes an understanding and agreement with all conditions.
Artists must supply an e-mail address for RAA to send the acceptance notification and release form.
RAA reserves the right to use images of accepted entries for promotional purposes.
