On the 31st of August 2003, TheAntsNest.com celebrates its 2nd birthday,
with a design exhibition and fashion show. The celebration will showcase
young creative South Africans in the fields of Graphic design,
Photography, Fashion design, Web / Multimedia design and a variety of
contemporary art including Graffiti. The event will take place in Studio
One at 186 Bree street, Cape Town.
TheAntsNest.com is an online design company that networks South African
designers in a range of creative fields (Graphic design, Photography,
Fashion design, Web / Multimedia design and contemporary Art) and
markets them to both foreign and local clients. The company is based in
Cape Town, and currently has representatives operating from London and
Amsterdam.
Last year's 1st birthday party was held at in a restaurant called
Frieda's also in Bree street.

Studio One is a beautiful, open plan, daylight photographic studio on
the top floor of 186 Bree Street, Cape Town. The theme of this year's
event will be "ICONS". The event is held in order to expose the work of
young creative South Africans. Entrance fees for the event will be R20
and proceeds will be donated to The Foundation For A Brighter Future, a
section 21 charity that support Cape Town's street children.
Any creative South Africans who'd be interested in taking part in this
event are asked to contact TheAntsNest.com ASAP.
The application deadline is Friday 15 August. If selected to take part
in the show, the project submission deadline is Wednesday 27 August
2003.
