Work by Danish artist Asbjorn Lonvig will be included in the International Contemporary Art Exhibition in Brasini Halls at il Vittoriano in Rome, Italy.
The exhibition continues to 28th September 2003. Alice Garibaldi declared the exhibition open, and the mayor of Rome, embassy representatives and a large number of VIPs were also present.
Lonvig is exhibiting huge canvases (201 x 139 cm) made after two stays in Rome. His works feature motifs from both Antique and Modern Rome.
Asborjn Lonvig also exhibits proposals for huge metallic sculptures to be erected in spectacular places in Rome. Lonvig's most glamorous exhibitions were at The Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design, in Javits Center Galleria in New York and in The Danish Church in Paris.
