October 2-5th sees the birth of a new London contemporary art fair, the first dedicated UK event to bring together outsider and self-taught artists from around the world. More than 40 emergent and established sculptors, painters, drawers and photographers (including such talented and prolific artists as Anne Grgich (US) and Zeus (ex graffiti artist, UK) will be exhibiting and selling over 250 pieces of contemporary art ranging in price from £30 to £7,000.
Zeus Coleman has been commissioned to create two stunning 9ftx3ft paintings to hang on Atlantis's bridge over Brick Lane during the event, together with the fabulous work of International Interior Designer Robert Coleman (who worked with Lennon and Yoko Ono) on the inside.
The fair poses an intriguing challenge to pre-conceived ideas about art. Can the imagination be more important than knowledge? We'll let you decide...
