"Calling to Artists, Arts Manufacturers, Art Societies, Retailers and Galleries"
2003-10-13 until 2003-12-31
Artists & Illustrators Exhibition
London, , UK United Kingdom

The Artist’s & Illustrators Exhibition is an annual event where artists, arts manufacturers, retailers, art magazines, art societies and galleries get together under one roof. The idea of the event is to promote work, create work, sell work and network. Throughout the four days of the event there will be manufacturers and professional artists presenting demonstrations, workshops, seminars and lectures on their latest product’s, courses, painting holidays and art work. This is a great way to promote yourself and to get feedback. This is a practical show, and a creative experience which brings together more than 150 art material manufacturers and over 16,000 artists and illustrators of all abilities under one roof.

The 2004 show introduces a new face and new ideas. Natalie Braiden, the new Events Manager, has an arts background bringing with her innovative and fresh ideas. Natalie intends to broaden the audience by introducing more contemporary styles and forms of work, which will reach a new audience. There will be exhibits and demonstrations of illustration, gouache, oils, collage, photography, digital work and much, much more. Natalie is currently looking for new faces for the exhibition. If you would like to be a part of the Artists & Illustrators Exhibition 2004 and are interested in having a stand contact Paul Harris on 020 7700 8501. If you would like to present a seminar, lecture, workshop or demonstration please contact Natalie Braiden for further details on 020 7700 8508 or email natalieb@quarto.com. The Exhibition is at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London, running from 22-25 July 2004. Free entry for all students (who provide student nus cards).

Opportunity to be a part of a new project at the A&I Exhibition 2004

This Way Up is an exciting new edition to the show. This project will be exhibiting a broad range of contemporary artists. There will be sections on illustration, fine art, photography, digital art and much more. The idea is to exhibit traditional forms of art alongside technological and digital art. The exhibition will show how these basic forms of art can be developed and produced into computerised and digital art. Some artist’s, retailers and manufacturers will be displaying work, selling products and working within a studio space.

You will be able to see several artists at work and understand how they incorporate technology and digital art into their work. Many artists today are being introduced to computer generated and digital art and are using it to produce, expand and develop their work. This Way Up is based on a logical progression, representing new arrivals, a new angle, and a new delivery. This Way Up will be situated in three gallery bays with 100 square metres of space. If you are interested in being a part of this new project contact Natalie Braiden on 020 7700 8508 or email natalieb@quarto.com.
