"New Figurative Works by Bryce Brown"
2003-10-27 until 2003-11-07
Harrison's Gallery
Tauranga, , NZ New Zealand (Aotearoa)

Figurative paintings from established Tauranga artist, Bryce Brown currently feature at Harrison’s Gallery -Tauranga. Viewers will notice an inspirational theme focusing on nature and the human figure running through the show. Brown focuses on simple moments of New Zealand life and reflects these scenes through his paintings with an earthy, fantasy like quality.

‘I feel compelled to make figurative paintings, to capture subtle movement and gestures and to evoke positive emotion through certain poise. I am always looking for images and movement to find strong line, usually working the image to a point where I have simplified and heightened the figure at the same time.”

Brown has paintings in collections in New Zealand, Europe and the USA. He is a Premiere Portfolio Artist at absolutearts.com. View more of Bryce Brown's work at: absolutearts.com/portfolios/b/brycebrown
