"HONEY, I shrunk the Turner Prize: the Little Turner Prize"
2003-12-08 until 2003-12-24
Catto Contemporary
London, , UK United Kingdom

Appealing to all ages this exhibition coincides with the prestigious Turner Prize 8th December 2003. The Little Artists have brought down to size some of the biggest names in the artwork by reproducing them AND their works with the children's toy medium, LEGO! The exhibition is set to cause as much controversy as the Turner Prize itself and is sure to appeal to the English sense of humor as well as encouraging a higher awareness of contemporary art to a younger audience.

Catto Contemporary is proud to confirm a major solo Christmas exhibition of The Little Artists in November 2003 until Christmas Eve. Included in the show will be a brand new piece (which is larger than previous work), presenting a gallery scene featuring Hirst, ‘In and Out of Love’ and his Butterfly paintings, Victoria Miro, Julia Peyton-Jones and Jay Jopling.

There will be a selection of sculptural works and Limited Edition Lambda prints available to buy as the ideal Christmas gift, and in perfect time to coincide with the Turner Prize announcement, 8-9 pm 7th December, Tate Britain. All of the Turner prize nominees; Jake and Dinos Chapman, Willie Doherty, Anya Gallaccio and Grayson Perry have been immortalized by The Little Artists.
