"People - Places - Things"
2003-12-19 until 2004-02-07
DFN Gallery
New York, NY, USA United States of America

DFN Gallery is pleased to present PEOPLE - PLACES - THINGS, an exhibition of paintings and drawings in which we asked some of our favorite artists to present work across a range of subject matter. Each artist will exhibit their interpretation within three categories: a portrait or group scene (People), a landscape or urban view (Place), and a still-life or object (Thing).

While many of the artists included in this exhibit have become known for working within a specific genre, they were excited about having the opportunity to show other work that has rarely been seen outside of their studios. Other artists enjoyed having the chance to experiment and extend their limits by addressing different subjects.

PEOPLE - PLACES - THINGS features paintings and drawings by: Ben Aronson, Robert Birmelin, Alfonse Borysewicz, Peter Drake, Dan Feldman, Rick Finkelstein, Susan Grossman, Gerard Haggerty, Julie Heffernan, Werner Hoeflich, Sherry Kerlin, Dominick Lombardi, David Mahler, Kam Mak, James Moore, Joseph Reed, Peter Schroth, Yuko Shimizu, Sonya Sklaroff, Madison Smith, Dan Witz, and Brenda Zlamany.
