"Visual Arts Mississauga 26th Annual Juried Show of Fine Arts"

Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) and the Art Gallery of Mississauga (AGM) invite all to attend the Visual Arts Mississauga 26th Annual Juried Show. This exhibition is an opportunity to survey current visual arts practice by a wide range of artists, from graduating students to senior members of the visual arts community, in all fine art media including painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture. The VAM juried exhibition always provides a stimulating display of the diversity of talent and activities thriving in the city and surrounding area.
Jurors of this years exhibition are Frank Barry, Patricia Clemes and Peter Kolisnyk.
Awards have been generously provided by community sponsors, including Bulova Watch Company, Currys Art Store, Loomis & Toles, Art Gallery of Mississauga and Visual Arts Mississauga. These awards will be given to deserving works in each of the media categories. Ballots for the Peoples Choice Award will be available at the opening reception on Thursday December 18, 2003 at 6:00 p.m.
Visual Arts Mississauga, founded in 1977, is a non-profit membership association which serves artists in Mississauga through the provision of educational programmes, exhibitions, sales, meeting and work facilities at Springbankarts Centre.
