John Plunkett, a Mt. Kisco resident, and a Rhode Island School of Design, and School of Visual Art graduate will be exhibiting his recent works at the Opus Gallery at Northern Westchester Center for the Arts. An accomplished painter, John has shown in galleries all over the world including Populi Gallery in NYC, National Museum of Fine Arts in Hanoi, Vietnam and Boston University Art Gallery in Boston.
John's powerful paintings range from warm landscapes of Westchester to bold dynamic abstract images. Renowned for his images of Vietnam, John Plunkett served in the infantry 1969-1971. His images of war have been viewed all over the world in various galleries.
