"Call for Artists: The Future of Global Design"
2004-04-02 until 2004-04-12
Massive Change
Toronto, ON, CA Canada

Bruce Mau Design and the Institute without Boundaries are working on an ambitious, international project entitled "Massive Change: The Future of Global Design."  Many thanks to all those who submitted images in response to the first call. The results were remarkable! They received over 500 images from around the world, many of which they will feature in the project. They're entering a new phase of the project: the Massive Change book is nearing completion and the exhibition design is in full gear, with the gala opening in Vancouver in October 2004. On the horizon is a feature-length documentary film and more.

They are seeking images and video that document how design is being applied to all aspects of life, including: transportation, housing and urbanization, health, energy, manufacturing, imaging and information technologies, materials, markets, and the military.

Deadline:
To be included in the exhibition, images must be received by Monday, April 12, 2004. Submissions for the film are ongoing.

Specifications: They are accepting digital files, prints and transparencies.  Low resolution files are acceptable as we will follow up to obtain higher resolution as necessary. All forms of video are acceptable. Please include a caption or brief description with your submission. Please note that submissions will not be returned.

Send your submissions to:
