"Call for Artists: 6X6 for Ireland in the Year of the Monkey"

The 411 Gallery invites all professional artists to participate in the second annual exhibition of Irish art in China. The 6X6 exhibition will take place at the 411 Gallery on Saturday, the 22nd Of May 2004. The 411 Gallery invites all professional Irish artists to submit work. The size restriction remains the same; 6 inches x 6 inches square or flat. The theme for this show is the "Year of the Monkey‚" and are seeking work in a variety of media.
This could include documentation of performances, films , video (DVD only), computer work in CD format including Windows platform , AVI , Quicktime , HTML , Interactive works or other formats will be accepted. Printmaking , photoworks , collage , painting or any small 3D works are also acceptable. Please adhere to the size restrictions not only to expedite delivery but also to minimize cost. Send work via airmail in a padded envelope including hanging or display instructions , a current CV and a brief statement regarding the enclosed work(s). Do not frame work as this will be provided by the 411 in China. The exhibition will be selected by curators James Ryan MA and Martin Shannon MA.
